CNET Line Measurement System

This is an interactive CNET line transmit level measurement system.

In order to use the system, call one of the following CNET numbers:

West-German CNET: 49 9621 794
East-German CNET: 37 51 1794
French CNET: 33 69 88 87 94
Russian CNET: 7 8312 25 07 94
US CNET: 1 328 5794

When presented with a dialtone, using DTMF, dial any CNET number, preferably to a Milliwatt line. Dial as follows:

On the West-German dialtone, dial 00 + Country Code + Number,
On the East-German dialtone, dial 06 + Country Code + Number,
On the French dialtone, dial 19 + Country Code + Number,
On the Russian dialton, dial 810 + Country Code + Number,
On the US dialtone, dial 1 + the seven-digit US CNET number or dial 011 + Country Code + Number.

When you get connected, you will hear the called party and the called party will hear you.

During the whole time you are on the call, the power level of the transmit path to you (as the caller) will be analyzed in real time. The measurement results will be displayed below.

Remarks:

You need to send valid Caller ID for the service to work.
If the party you call blocks CNET gateway calls, you cannot use the service.
If you get busy tone when calling one of the numbers listed above, the service is in use by somebody else. Come back later.
